Earflap ‘chullo’ is the typical knitted hat worn by the indigenous Andean people throughout South America. This fabulous hat is handknitted in alpaca blend yarns and decorated with pre-Inca designs and used for special occasions or ceremonies.
The designs feature indigenous pre- Inca iconography, and using the bright colors of the Tawantinsuyo (Inca empire) flag which depict the colors of the rainbow. Each hat is uniquely decorated with colorful tassels hanging from the top of the beanie, and at each end of the earflaps.
