The JipiJapa Straw Fans are hand woven with toquilla straw (jipijapa). They are light, but sturdy to provide great relief for the heat, and they feature colorful ribbons and two pom poms.

The toquilla straw fans are handwoven by our female artisan partners with much love and care. The process of washing, drying, dying the palms with natural tints, and drying them again takes multiple days, and it adds to the value of using a handmade item, ethically sourced, and fair traded even more special!
